I bet this is driving our Navy nuts trying to figure out what is going on. I don't know how you did this picture but it is priceless. One of the best.
Thanks, Frank. I'm sure the phones are ringing off the hook in the Navy Department! The Nanookian ships are carrying no markings, our sub is of course another worry, and since both sides are observing strict radio silence, there's no way for the Navy to know who's who or what's going on.
And as the Ministry of Mayhem's home island lies just outside of U.S. territorial waters at the moment, (it moves, of course...) the Navy and Defense Department are unsure whether a threat to the American mainland exists. While they remain on high alert, for now they're only observing the battle about to unfold.
In addition, the Martian has annoyed enough folks in our government that I'm not entirely sure anyone would really care if he and the Ministry of Mayhem disappeared for good, as he has enough on most of them to either send them packing at the very least, or more probably to jail for the rest of their lives...
Thanks for your kind words and visit, always very much appreciated!

Meanwhile, up here we got news that Dark Lady Kimberly is delayed at customs because her flight plan didn't mention going into Canadian airspace.
We're on Red Alert up here and the fishermen are staying close to shore. So much for my much anticipated fish fry dinner tonight....

Thanks, Ron. It's that darned Rumanian passport of hers, isn't it!? They're probably afraid she's going to smuggle in a dragon, and are going thru her bags, looking for the slightest hint of dragon eggs!
If she were actually trying to smuggle one in, they'd never find it anyway, so I'm not sure why they're bothering. But you know Customs and red tape.
The fairy dust from Madame P's attack doesn't appear to have done a darned thing, wouldn't you know, so I guess this is the end for the Ministry. Tippit will have to find herself a new Minister of Mayhem, as the Martian will never survive the coming bombardment.
Pity, as he was good at the job...
Ah, well. We here on the sub, along with Madame P when she returns, may come knocking at the Northern Division's door, looking for a new home, if we manage to survive. The Nanookians don't appear to have noticed our submarine, and presuming the U. S. Navy doesn't decide to sink us, we may come through this.
We'll see.
Meantime, you'd be wise to stay at Defcon 1, as once the Ministry itself is laid waste, the Nanookians will almost certainly come after you, and order that sub in your lake to engage and destroy what's left of the Cat Empire's defenses...
Thanks for the intel, been nice knowing you...

Thanks, Bob. Never a dull moment when you work for the Ministry of Mayhem , lol!
Glad you're having fun with this adventure, and thanks as always for your kind words and visit. They're much appreciated!

Love it,Randy!!
Thanks, bnewmk. A fun adventure, glad you're enjoying it. Tragic MadameP's fairy dusting of the fleet doesn't appear to have had any effect. Not much of anything we can do now but wait for destruction from those big guns...
Thanks for your kind comment and visit, it's always much appreciated!
Did someone sabotage Madame P's fairy dust? I'll bet a Nanookian spy (OO6 1/2?) did it. I'm waiting for Madame P's next move!

Thanks, Sirius _one. Strange that the fairy dust didn't do anything--I've never known Madame P to fail. Guess it happens to everyone. Too bad, as I've grown fond of those Ministry floors over the years, and odds are I won't be needing my mop and bucket anymore.
Thanks for your visit and joining the adventure. If the worst happens and we don't make it back, tell the world our story... ; )
Great stuff Randy and I bet the crew's of those battleships have got some big headaches after being bombarded with that fairy dust but at least it didn't kill anyone but just made them feel like very happy little bunnies.Excellent work as always Randy.
Visible proof Madame P is back! This seems to signal a practice run buildup for the upcoming solar eclipse in August. We await what comes! Very creative, Randy.

Thanks, Angler. Due to our radio silence, I've not heard of any casualties among the Nanookian crews, but a glance thru our sub's periscope has revealed a lot of sneezing going on aboard those battleships!
I'm sure that's only temporary, tho, and won't interfere with the coming but mbardment of the Ministry.
A shame, too, as this was Madame P's only chance to stop the attack. I've never known her to fail, but guess there's a first time for everything.
Thanks for your kind comments and visit, always appreciated, and who knows, we may take our sub to England when our Ministry home is destroyed. So if you hear a knock at your door, and you look out to see a bunch of crazy sea-going cats in the company of a beautiful wicked witch and a salty old astronaut/custodian, you might be wise not to answer it!

Thanks, Charmdragon. She's back big-time, but it would appear she's failed her first test against the Nanookians, and looks like there's no stopping them.
A shame, as I!'d grown fond of those Ministry floors.
But nothing to be done about it now except to watch the destruction of the Ministry. A very sad day.
Thanks for your kind words and visit, they're always much appreciated!
Treepusher, keep us advised on the battle. Of course, the return of Madame P's sub and the condition of the Nanookian war ships.

The crew on the battle wagon all has white hair due to that dam dust.

The Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington has not released this official U.S. Navy photograph of what appears to be a fairy dust attack on a flotilla of Nanookian battleships somewhere off the coast of the United States (the exact location has been censored). The Navy itself has refused to comment, saying only that the unidentified broom-flying figure is, well, unidentified. The ships appear undamaged, and so far, there are no reports of casualties. An anonymous ONI analyst we contacted said that "...the ships are clearly forming a battle line in preparation for firing their main guns, and the target appears to be the island home of the Ministry of Mayhem..."
ONI says an unidentified submarine has also been detected in those same waters, and although it does not appear to pose a direct threat to the United States, the Navy is monitoring the situation closely.
The Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington has... (
