This is the bulb. Impossible to find in the US, except the company that sells them states several have been shipped to the US.

This one may not be available, but there are many LED bulbs on the market now that are similar. Look at the specifications of the bulb in the photo so you can match them. Check out other products by looking on Amazon. ebay, B&H, and Googling. Not sure, but there may be filters for your lens that make the sparkle. Look into that by Googling for products and information on the process. Good luck! > Alan

I recently discovered Banggood.com. Many different choices on LED lamps and inexpensive also. Chances are what you are looking for was made in China also.

I recently discovered Banggood.com. Lots of choices on LED lamps and inexpensive also. Chances are what you are looking for was made in China also. I have ordered and am using many "corn row" low wattage LEDs. All of them around 5000 K color temperature. Lots of light for a little money.

Go to your local Harbor Freight and get one of their small led flashlights and try that. They are often free with coupon if you buy anything else. Virtually any point light source will light up a diamond. I shot jewelry professionally and have to advise you may not like the effect. Go cheap first to test the waters.

I am starting to shoot jewelry in a light tent with two side lights. Have any of you used the Diamond Dazzler LED light bulb that makes diamonds or gems sparkle more. It is supposed to be placed in front of the piece of jewelry at about 18 inches. They are expensive at $57.00 plus shipping and exchange rate in Europe which totals about $87.00. So before I order one I wonder if any of you have used one? I can't find one in the US.

Any highly specular source will work... Jewelry needs a blend of hard and soft light. Hence, the tent AND a pinpoint spotlight.

There is no magic in that "Diamond Dazzler".

You could also try this setup as well, but I guess you have already purchased the bulb.
