I have read most of the questions and answers on the V600 site. There is a template for 2"x2" 35mm slides, and instructions for use indicate that slides need to be positioned in 1 of 2 orientations. I have many Super-127 slides (1 5/8"x1 5/8" image) in 2"x2" mounts. I'm presuming I could put those into the 35mm template, but is there some feature that only allows images in the35mm format to be scanned? (Would the scanner crop the scanned image to 35mm size?)
If it is like the V750 it will not scan the super 127 correctly.
You scan the hole holder as one scan then use the select tool to draw around each slide then it will do each one correctly. Have to do this with 126 instamatic as well.
Same with negatives in the 35mm holder if they are not 135 then again you draw around each one and then it does the rest as normal.
I do this with any odd sizes up to 8x10 of negatives. I did make a specific mask for some sizes I have hundreds of negs for rather than do this but for the small strips and slides it is very quick to select them and scan.
