I'll bet these bring back a lot of memories for a lot of folks here. I know they do me.
Very good series Namwife.
Nice shots. Was fortunate never to receive fire when I was up in one of these!

I was in AF during Vietnam but never went. My experience with Huey's were riding them out to missile sites in South Dakota. The 50 to 150 mile rides were a great experience.
Great photos. Who did the restoration and how long did it take?
Thanx Tom ...Good to see you! :)

Damn near fell out of one of these babies in SVN in late '67.
Very nice. I worked on the UH1N. They had twin engines. The ones I worked on were at Andrews AFB. They were really pushed up for transporting VIP's in and around the DC area. We used to catch a hop once in a while on a training mission fly real low along the Potomac river with the side doors open. Great pics.

Nice capture, glad to see that old war bird restored.
Great set and great job restoring an outstanding bird. I believe I spotted the VN service ribbon at the patch panels, very cool.
Great pictures of a great bird...brings back memories (24 combat air assaults). Would it have hurt if you displayed the "better unit" on her, 1st of the 7th instead of the "almost good" 1st of the 9th? Just kidding. Thanks for making my day. Dave.
