Restored in-honor of her history and all her Crew Members ...049 is a 6 year Veteran of Vietnam...she had 78 bullet holes in her, a service ribbon has been place at the site of each one during restoration...We now have a Slick, Medevac, and a Gunship flying...all because of a higher power.
These shots were taken during her first flights with her full weapons system in place.

Great shots - brings back a lot of memories. One hell of an aircraft (and pilots weren't too shabby either - saved a lot of lives).

My older brother flew in a Medi-Vac Huey, he was the Medic, Richard P. Fisk, glad he made it home in 1969, the year I graduated H.S.

Beautiful restoration! While I spent 20 years in the Air Force, I never had the "pleasure" of going to SEA. I was lucky to fly in some Hueys while stationed in Alaska. Remarkable aircraft.
