Shots were taken near the South Carolina coast.
Fish are just fin fish of some type, possibly little Spots; not Tilapia though.

Thanks for looking!

Anhinga photos were taken over a period of a couple of weeks. I got quite familier with a few of those birds. heh heh :-)

The bird must have the art of turning the fish so they can swallow head first. Those dorsal spines look mighty sharp. And, those are great pictures! Thank you. More than ever I am determined to put up a small "blind" near the pond at the end of our yard. That will be after I heal and Springtime has returned to the upper Midwest. Sue

If you have property to set up a blind, then you are really lucky and should do so...from what you said, you also have to heal first, once you do, it will be well worth it, be sure to post here!! Here's to fast healing!

Fantastic shots!! I wonder do you ever get caught up in the moment and forget to take a pic? Sometimes I am just amazed at the birds and just stare then I think oh shoot I need to get to snappin! Amazing shots!
