This driftwood (a tree with root-wad), has been in-place for six years that I know of. I removed the background to better show its intricacies.

A great capture of nature's artwork, neilds.

I sorta like it Neil, but think rather than removing the background it might have been a good idea to
remove the eggs in the foreground. Or did you put them there?

They were there, and I didn't even notice them until Billy brought them up.

I just viewed this post again because I hadn't noticed any eggs. When I checked it out I still don't see eggs. I honestly believe it's two
small rocks. No big deal - just my observation.😏

Neat, Neil! I've found drift wood in which I can imagine all kinds of things! Love it!

Thank you, Sue. I've been eyeing this piece for six years to get decent photos of. I hope to get strong and agile enough in a month or so to actually work my way through the boulder rip-rap to get close to it, and from all angles.

We're all with you Neil on that goal! When you're ready we all hope you don't slip on a wet rock and
injure yourself!! Please, take care....

Thank you Jenny. The reason I haven't been to it yet is because I'm careful. I dislike hospital stays!!
