A Piece of Driftwood

This driftwood (a tree with root-wad), has been in-place for six years that I know of. I removed the background to better show its intricacies.

I haven't measured it - I'd say somewhere between 6' and 8'.

Removing background is helpful for "research purposes", but, aesthetically, it also negates any perspective which might enhance the image. Just sayin'...
