Thank you Billy, I was speechless.

Not sure that's a good thing jenny as I'm sure your erudite comments on texture collecting and which folder you store them in and on which disc would be most welcome.

I don't understand why you were speechless so I thought I ask assuming I missed something. S-

Just a guess ol' Stevie but Billy's natural charm, charisma, good looks and straight forward and honest approach to life often leaves folks speechless. ts a cross I have to bear. Some find it so difficult to live with they put him on an ignore list! Obviously cannot live with my charisma and jealous of my good looks.

If you still need enlightenment, try living without texture.

Well maybe one or two tiny itsy bitsy little ones but not enough to worry about.

As we have wandered a bit down the road of discussing Billy rather than textures, I'm hoping to return our discussion to its original premise: building a texture library, which I have done and find exceedingly fun to the point of addiction.

Here is what I failed to say the first time, though it could be assumed: it is fine for anyone to save and use the textures I post if any interest them.

And if anyone wants any additional info about using them, feel free to ask, either in this or another thread, or by PM to me or any of us who are experimenting with them. No, we won't pretend to be experts, but most of us will happily share what we know.

Very cool stuff! Trish and you have demonstrated that there is so much more around to play with than just dirty t-shirts

And as with your earlier comments + my demo with the dark blue water, sometimes just a piece of another image will work out to a fascinating conclusion.

I did find this interesting dappled bark recently.
Did someone say addiction? Trish, I love your dappled bark, but I never suspected I'd be able to re-cover furniture with it!

"Darken" blend mode at 70%. The cat and green blanket are masked from the effect.
