Every time I see a great series of photos like these I cringe a bit and say to myself, "Self, you've got a lot to learn." Does anyone else feel that way, or am I the only one?

That would all depend on how long I been shooting , these are nice. I have many that are pretty much the same thing , but we don't have a bird like that , but I have a lot of flickers , stellar Jay's, pilated wood pecker , toehees, and many bald eagles .

Very nice set! how about suggesting to a couple of those Orioles to visit the Eastern Shore for a change. We've been here in Easton for a little over ten years and haven't seen one 
although we seem to have most every other type of the region's flying critter from Bald Eagles to Hummers.
