Come on man. Isn' t the answer obvious? 1 year as opposed to 90 days? Geesus.

Since you don't have experience with any company other than B&H how do you know they are the best?
You must be a retired lawyer who likes to challenge.

That is why!
And I did not say B&H was the best, so re read what I wrote!
I did reread it, several times . You said, "
Go with B&H, the others maybe fine also, but
I have only used B&H." You didn't offer any reason to use them other than "I have only used B&H".

Yes. The Guru has spoken...again. Truth has emerged from the din of idiocy. Long live the Guru.
Any "refurbished" product listed by Cameta Camera is refurbished by the manufacturer - no exceptions.
You can also purchase a variety of extended warranties from Cameta on any of the refurbished products
Why B&H? - pricing at Cameta is generally the same - and a longer warranty is offered right off the bat.

No, wrong. I am a retired Marine Machinery Mechanic that worked on and overhauled nuclear powered submarines at MINSY. I will challenge somebody who makes a comment and doesn't provide anything to substantiate their statement other than "I have only used B&H".
Its imperative to determine who did the refurbishing, AND - you must determine if these were grey market cameras !!
A grey market camera always seems to have a stigma among camera buffs.
What if you buy a refurbished camera that was grey market, and then in a few years you want to sell it, and someone checks a serial number and does not want to pay you because it was grey market and was not originally warrantied by the camera company. Therefore, they may think that if the camera had problems id did not have original manufacturer repairs - who knows where the repairs were made, and whether they even used original parts. For example - so many parts are easily reproducible - like the mirror. Its not rocket science to replace the mirror glass. Maybe the mirror movement device is a bit of interesting technology, but if a mirror was defective - anyone could replace it with any mirror.
Dont take the risk of buying a camera that may have been at one time a grey market camera. Too much risk with those products !
Good luck with this complex decision !

My first question would be: Who did the refurbishing? If the answer is the same for both cameras then going with Cameta would seem to be a no-brainer, don't you think? Otherwise, my only concern would be the quality of the refurbishment.
Typically, Nikon does Cameta's refurbishing. I don't know if it is still true but while I was working at Nikon, Cameta handled ALL of Nikon's New/Refurbished camera sales. Meaning that if you purchased a camera through Nikon USA, it was fulfilled and shipped by Cameta. Having said that, Adorama and B&H are great and I wouldn't hesitate (and haven't) to purchase cameras or equipment from any of them. So, If Cameta is offering a longer warranty, that's what I would do.

No, you didn't say it but you intimated by saying "Go with B&H"

I have dealt with both companies with no problems.
Both are selling a refurbished Nikon D5300 for $399, no tax, no shipping cost.
Cameta offers 1 year warranty; Adorama a 90 day warranty.
Doesn't it make sense to go with Cameta?
Thanks
Yes, 365 days are better than 90, but I bet you won't need either. One store might sell you a camera with 5,000 shutter clicks, and the other will sell you one with 50. There's no way to tell till, you test it.

Yes, I just recently bought a refurbished Nikon 35mm 1.8g lens from Cameta Camera, although I am not sure if Nikon refurbished it or another company, but I would hope it was a reputable Nikon approved repair facility.
