I downloaded Opanda but, for all my effort and confusion, I can't seem to find it. I did locate it in Photoshop CS4 under file and file info, raw data labelled image number. It was the original HTML and a chore to find for those of us computer illiterates.

I can't find it in Opanda at all, nor in Photoshop except in the raw data. And Opanda seems to only work on JPG, not RAW or TIF.

After downloading, all you have to do is right click on the mouse and the metadata will come up.

ok, with windows 7, you should find opanda on your desktop or where ever you have saved the download.

Open it, and then open the image you wish to check and all the data should pop up.

Yes, I did that, and it's on the desktop. When I open it and have it open an image it shows a WHOLE SLEW of "stuff", but none of those items is what I'm looking for. Unless, of course, I'm having a blind moment. Not unusual.

I did find it in Photoshop but it's buried in a lot of HTML-looking gook. I can't find it in any normal format.

Hmmmmm......

SIZZLING CELERYSTICKS, BATMAN!!!!!!!

The online thing WORKED!! But only with RAW, and that's ok. Opanda gives me an error saying my camera doesn't provide the information, although my Nikon D-60 is on their tested list. It will only take jpg, but it doesn't like mine. I think maybe it needs a jpg taken directly from the camera, not converted from RAW. Any thoughts on that? Oh, well, I now have two sources to compare! :-D

On that site it showed 5111 shutter actuations, 10% of camera life. Photoshop CS4 showed 5113, but certainly close enough. I'm not sure, nor care, which is correct for two actuations!

Thank you, thank you, thank you........and did I mention....THANK YOU!

(Now to see if I did this HTML thing right..... :?: )
