I think they've got it. I really like this one. We are down to six artists now and they are working harder for us. In four more days we will be down to three and then we have to choose the winner. We give them feedback and rate the designs, so that helps them create what we are looking for.

It's getting better, these are clean and non-restrictive..., having a monochrome / B&W example would be useful to test.

He did a similar one in monochrome, so you can get the idea.

I don't like the spiky things and I don't think they would work well on a cell phone. It makes the image too wide. I also like the locker on the colored one better. And the shading is much more refined.

Excellent. This should certainly be a candidate.

I have to admit that it's the monochrome that caught my eye first.

If I were you - I clearly am not - I would compare each of the designs with both color and monochrome and/ or grayscale side by side. If you want the best feedback from UHH or others I would use a standard template layout of all the alternatives under consideration or required.

The more pared down the better, something that looks cool on a tee will always be a winner. I've been using my logo since the early '80s. It's a bP, for me just pleasing graphics and easy to reproduce in different mediums. On furniture I sign my name right below the brand with a number. It lends itself very easily to inlay with no fuss.

Are there monochrome / grayscale versions? They should be considered, since things will be printed on laser printers without color.

It's an interesting logo, and distinctive, but I don't intuitively see the 'bP' in it. Why is 'Bee Pee' significant anyway? You don't seem to be in the oil business, but that itself could lead to conflict if your business scaled enough to be visible. It may work in luthier circles, but beyond that the logo itself doesn't seem to communicate much, it could be a little too abstract.

bP? Excuse me for being dense, Peter. I'm not sure I understand. Anyway, here is a revision of that logo.

Sorry Sandra, the bP comment was replying to Texcaster and his example, not to your good self. However, I would like to see grayscale and monochome examples of each logo. They will get reproduced that way, and may lose something in translation when printed on a laser printer or other medium. The tonality is quite similar between 'Locker' and the background, so some distinctiveness in the color logo is lost...

A little fine tuning could most likely fix that..., the text and font design is evolving nicely...

My logo is from the early '80s, a time when BP was just another oil company not yet involved in a major environmental catastrophe. BP also happens to be my initials and I did not want an obvious BP link. It was designed for furniture, luthrie came much later for me in '01. The logo, for me, says everything I find interesting in furniture design, positive/negative, up/down, in/out and square/round. I've always preferred abstract logos, the Nike whoosh being an excellent example.

I'd bet Nike would, too ....
