Thanks for the comments...That was actually my wife feeding the birds on a Nature walk....first time a Titmouse landed on her hand to eat!

A Titmouse? I could swear that looks like a bird. I don't know, well maybe it's my monitor. I've had it since 1937.

Just a clarification (as I've fallen foul of this in other sites' competitions) - do the photos have to be recent shots (i.e. new ones) or can we dig out from our own archives? It's probably an honor thing anyway so maybe doesn't matter.

Living in the Pacific Northwest can provide some pretty dramatic skies when the rain gives way to the sunshine on the dark clouds.
