Tokina 11-16mm I use mine all the time 11-16mm= 16-24mm on DX

"The Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X is the best ultrawide zoom available for Nikon DX cameras, better than even Nikon's more expensive 12-24mm AF-S DX."

I would buy this one!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tokina-AT-X-PRO-DX-II-11-16mm-f-2-8-Lens-for-Nikon-plus-77mm-Tiffen-Haze-Filter-/282341880365?hash=item41bce3322d:g:f-gAAOSwnHZYjQHQ

Buy more DX lenses as I think you only have one DX lens.

Is there something that the lenses you already have can't do for you? If so, buy a lens that will fill that need. If not, save up for a D500 camera.

You have just about everything. As stated an extremely wide lens, but they distort subjects like crazy when used in close like portraits. Very long like the 150-600 Tamrons (they have two, just like Sigma has two) Those would work for field sports on the kids or to get into birds, wildlife, planes etc.
You also don't have a macro lens. A macro in the 90-180 range gets you into ultra close up (macro) and they make excellent portraits with very high resolution and IQ. Yes, in portraits you often don't want high resolution because of wrinkles, zits etc. Those can be taken out in PP, but resolution/IQ that isn't there can not be added later. A shorter macro will be smaller, lighter and cheaper. A longer macro will give you working room (do you really want to be up close and personal with spiders, bees and wasps?). Also with a good quality teleconverter/extender you get into high IQ telephoto range. I use a Tamron 180 macro with a Kenko Pro 300 1.4X on a Canon 7DII which gives me the angle of view of a 403 mm.

As someone said, you might look into a second body. Either the latest APS-C body or perhaps FF for portraits. Depending on which of your lenses are FF models you might be looking at a bunch of new lenses though.

You need something on the ultra wide end, especially since your 24-70 F2.8 is not a true normal zoom on an DX sensor. It's a 36-105 equivalent. You might look at a Sigma 10-20, a Tamron 10-24 or Nikon 10-24

If you do close up work you could look at a 60 or 105 mm Macro lens. Personally I found the 105 too long when I had my D 300 but perfect for my full frame D810

Thanks, Jay, that deserves some thought.

if you like shooting your grandchildren in their sports activity, I would strongly recommend the Nikkor 200-500 mm lens, it will give you awesome results.

Funny, "I feel the urge to purchase another lens." I notice you didn't say you need a special lens for a special reason. I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I miss the UPS truck and look on Amazon for something I "need."

You're weak on the wide angle side. Look at fisheyes. Depending on how you use them, they can give normal or funny results. Also, consider something like the Tokina 11-16mm lens. I had one of them with my D7100, and I enjoyed using it. ow I have the 16-28mm on my D750.

Given your routine subjects, you don't need another lens.
