You should also look at the Duluth Trading Company "Working Man's Vest." I shoot large format and there are more pockets than I need albeit there are only 13. It is very well made, comes in different colors and is under $70. I have had one for years and no signs of wearing out.

Love their Fire Hose pants. I used those when I shot a couple of weddings. Great for having extra batteries, or for when I wanted to pull the flash off, but keep it with me.

Where do you get them? The Domke website does not show any vests. I can't seem to find them except on Ebay and Amazon, which might be counterfeit.

Try B&H, Adorama, Amazon, Ebay, etc. Not all will carry the same model, and prices differ, so you should do an internet search and compare.

Just a comment about photo vests in general. The good thing about them is that they have so many pockets! The bad thing about them is that they have so many pockets! It always seems like I have to go through five or six pockets to find something. I had the same problem with my Air Force flight suit.

Got to have a system! Always put a certain type of accessory into the same pocket every time... But I do agree that too many pockets can decrease the efficiency of them. Kind of like being in dim light when your lens keeps searching for focus...

Domke. Best made and most versatile.

And most expensive. I like mine because of the zip off sleeves but see others in OP's price range.

Search for Safari jacket and vest,

I would like to buy a waist-length, 15-20 pocket photography vest. I have seen several in the store and they are poorly made (material, stitching, etc.). My price range is $30 - $120. Any recommendations???????

I use a simple "fisherman's" vest. About $30, not quite that many pockets but very functional and well made.

NONE OF THE ABOVE - Not the Domke which is a canvas like material and heavy ( I have), No not Travelsmith or Duluthtrading or any others mentioned. You want something light, nylon repellent material, washable with oversize pockets, and zippers, D-rings, reinforcements and pockets big enough Lenses, filters, water bottle and iPad ... then it is BigPockets found only online and only from the merchant ... 100% USA Made

Better made fishing ones work well - I use camo MILITARY - from military surplus type stores/flea market.

Domke discontinued the Photography vest but it is still available on Ebay. Adorama and B&H are out and can not (supposedly) get more.

I just buy $15 to $20 fishing vests at Walmart. Work great, light weight, cheap...

I've never washed one, so don't know how they'd hold up to that. They seem to wear out and need to be replaced every couple years, which coincidentally is just about when they start to show sweat stains and begin to smell a bit funky, needing a cleaning. Instead I just toss em and get a new one.

Whilst reading all the comments and recommendations concerning the vests and all the pockets.. Now if I have one of these multi pocketed vests as well as a pair of cargo pants I would never find a damn thing especially when needed....when in my camera bag it takes me half a lifetime to find anything...now that is a small camera bag...Imagine if I had a large one...
I am trying to utilize the KISS method when it comes to cameras and photography...just sayin,
The "G"

I like this one from Amazon.

I can't honestly say that I use it very often though.
