Signs have always amused me as in their brevity they often say things that make no sense. Some of my favorites-- Fire Door, must remain closed at all times-- Will someone please explain what a FIRE HOSE is used for. Why would anyone buy a HOT WATER HEATER. In the City of NY in the 50's nuclear scare all the bridges in the City had the following sign--IN CASE OF AIR RAID- DRIVE OFF BRIDGE.
