Welcome, you'll learn a lot here.
I spent 2 years in Bavaria in the early 50's very much enjoyed the beauty. Took some very nice shots with my Voigtlander.

Welcome Silke, you will learn a lot on this forum. I first started shooting in mostly aperture priority most of the time. Shutter priority for moving objects. Now I shoot mostly manual. Shot what is easiest for you and introduce one new thing at a time. Where you live, you have a lot to practise with. Have fun.

Silke, welcome to the forum. Please post some of your shots of the scenery around where you live - we would love to see them. I have traveled to Germany many times and Bavaria is very unique and beautiful especially around Garmisch. I go to the northwest part of Germany (Koln/Bonn area) every year for Karneval and visiting old friends and shooting hundreds of photos. Guts gluck fur ihr photografie..
