Absolutely great photos. Reminds me of my time in Turkey back in the mid 1970s. Many of the ruins showing today weren't open yet. Loved Ephesus and the town of Iznik. Such wonderful places. Mahalo for sharing.

Very good pictures! I was there this last June and experienced a slight problem that I had heard about with lens seizing up due to heat. The temperature was 105+ and I spent the whole day exploring the (well preserved) ruins and I noticed that the zoom ring on my 16-50 got somewhat stiff though still functioned. At first I feared the worst, that I had damaged the lens, but operation returned to normal once out of the heat. I never had the issue before or after.
