Freezing rain is due here in Fayetteville, NC starting about 6 am with snow to start about 9 am and lasting till about 1 pm. We are only expecting 1 inch. The real issue is going to be tomorrow night when the temperatures dip into the mid teens and then only rises to the upper 20's on Sunday. Anyone want to guess who is scheduled to work tomorrow evening and Sunday???

Here in Chiraq we call 6 inches "July"!
I've seen it snow in my backyard once in 35 years. A dusting on my orange trees on Christmas Eve. It was very cool.
When you live, by choice, 85 miles north of Green Bay, WI, you don't really feel sorry for Southerners who get snow and cold. -10 degrees this morning, -17 degrees yesterday morning.
One inch in my yard in Chattanooga.

Got up this morning around 7am, a dusting on snow on the driveway and roof so thin there was no way to measure it. My newspaper was not delivered. I did call and they sent one out later. Bob on boy it is cold here at 20 degrees at noon.
Another brutal winter day here in San Diego. Sunny and 70.

Be careful. Remember a 4WD is useless on ice! Look out for others who don't know this. Don't tailgate.
I am quite enjoying the snow falling lightly close to Rocky Mount, NC. Pretty and covers up the trash along the sides of the road - my biggest pet peeve living in this state! Bread and milk I went out for yesterday so I'm good.
