Cold cloudy day (15 degrees) when I took this photo of a European Starling eating some popcorn in our front yard.
The bird was about 20 feet away.

I used 560mm. Hand held.

Canon 5Dsr - Canon 400 II DO f4 - Canon 1.4x III - 1/640 - f/9 - ISO @ 1000.

Beautiful sharp and colorful regis.

Excellent. Whenever I look at your photos I appreciate the sharpness and detail you get. Your 5Dsr with either of your telephoto lenses do such a wonderful job. And hand held! Just great.

Well taken.

Thank you very much, Leicaflex. There could have been more detail
if the sun was shining.

Thank you very much, Greg. I have a cold and our temperature is a high of 14 degrees with our roads
covered with ice and snow, so I am staying home for awhile. The Eagles will have to wait.

With our very cold weather and it's icy roads and my cold, the eagles will have to wait until
the weather and my cold are better. I still have some Bald Eagle photos to post.

Thank you, Millismote, for your good reply.

Due to my cold and our terrible weather, I won't be able to take any new Bald Eagle shots for awhile.
I still have some new eagle photos to post.

Thank you very much, damurphy.
