Welcome, Clint. I live in Greer, SC and visit your area often. I first began visiting the area as a young child with my parents as it was often an after church Sunday afternoon ride. I'm an amateur but I love photographing the mountains.

Welcome Clint. I grew up in Sylva and spent many summers in Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area. I used to take my wife and two sons camping in that area many years ago when we lived in Charlotte. One of my favorite pictures is of the large tree in front of the old hotel in Lake Lure in full fall colors. Lionel

Welcome, Snake. You didn't step on one up there did you? I have snakes in my back yard, Matthews NC. I just joined myself today 12/30/16 I'm not even an amature yet but here I am trying to learn something new and exciting in my retirement years. Oh yeh! I have the same camera too! Good one. Hey Clint. That's a beautiful area to work in although I hear it's a little singed at the moment. We had crews working the area for two or three weeks and they came back and said how appreciative the people were to the fire crews.

Welcome. I have done a little photography around Chimney Rock and Lake Lure when I lived in Matthews, NC. It is a beautiful area. I look forward to seeing some of your work.
