Welcome to UHH Chauncy, glad you found us. I also shoot Nikon, presently the D7100. You should get many years of enjoyment out of your D5500. Post some of your images when you can.

New member here. I still shoot 35mm film. Use a Minolta Maxxum 7000, Chinon CP-7m and an old Pentax K1000. My only digital camera is a Nikon CoolPix L120...the ole point and shoot.

Welcome to the HOG Chauncy. Learn to see your camera settings on your computer. I use Photoshop Elements to tweak my work. If you want to improve....post some pictures and ask for advise. You will get great tips here. I did. David

Welcome to UHH visionaryman, glad you joined us. Some members here shoot film but I suspect most crossed over to digital.
