To remove ALL edits to a raw file, simply delete the .xmp file associated with the image. The raw file is not changed in dpp, the changes and edits are saved in the auxiliary file that is created the first time you begin edits - delete the .xmp, edits are gone - start over (carefully this time)
Now that is an interesting observation. Are you sure? I use DPP (both v3 and v4) and can have the option to revert to the original file at any time, but there is nary a .XMP file to found in my Windows folders. Could you be alluding to Adobe Lightroom file structures perchance? The functional capabilities may be similar, but the file structures and software methodologies appear not to be.
