I was messing around in Canon DPP4 in the editing window and now I have this blue color that I can't get rid of. It's only on the pics I put in the editting window. Anyone know what I did and how I can get rid of it??? thanks

Talking out of my ear,did you do something with the white balance? Easy to go blue.

I don't know anything about that software, but a blue cast is likely to be the white balance. Check the white balance and modify to get back the original look.

It looks like it's shading in blue certain areas of the shot. white balance is on auto.

I'm new at it and have accidentally induced blue tints with cooler temps. I'm sure someone with experience will chime in.

Is it actually a blue cast to the entire image or just areas of blue that show up in the dark areas? Canon DPP has a mode that displays blown highlights in red and excessive dark in shadows in blue as an overlay. Look in the preview menu and toggle the highlight / shadow warning item. If the blue goes away you will have solved your problem and discovered a useful tool for getting the full color range out of images.

Good luck.

OK here's what I did. Under "tool Palette" there's a icon of a lens, two right angles forming a square, and what looks like a guy sitting in a tub. LMAO. I clicked on the lens and it went away. I'm thinking about shooting is just JPG. this is a real pain in the ass. I've done editting before but didn't try to go very far. I clicked on one button and all hell broke loose. I've looking at a tutorial or two but they seem to think you already know what you're doing.
