Super, Disneyland seen through the eyes of an artist.

Thanks blacks2 for recognizing that I am an artist. That is my background and now it's so much fun with a digital camera to play with the photos in PP work. Disneyland (or any other place for that matter) should have unlimited possibilities of good photo ops! Just use your artistic eye! Thanks blacks2 for your comments.

... my wife just retired from working there, so I've been many times ... but your view is a real eye opener. Great job, as usual.

LB......very cool......what did she do there? Here's an intesting story: Back between the years of 1990 and 1995 I used to work there too.......the most fun job in the park.......I was a Matterhorn Mountain Climber. Since I am a climber on the outside, it was great to do it and be paid to climb it each day. We had the mountain wired and knew every move on all the climbs!
Thanks for the kind words about my photos, I appreciate it LB.

I like the architectural detail on the last two images

Larry, each person has a different like and dislike. You must be an architectural kind of guy to like those last two images. Thanks again for the nice comments.

Good job on you last shot Brent.

photophile, you and Larry (above your post) like the same image. I think it might be a combination of the light and also the architecture. Thanks photophile for your comments!

I love your choices. I have a bunch of photos taken over the years at all the Disney parks that include decorative touches; boat whistles and odds & ends. It makes me feel like a photographer to have noticed them.

As a photographer it's always challenging to me to come up with different images from California Adventure (Disneyland). There are the typical "standard" images that are taken often such as the view in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. When I go to California Adventure (Disneyland) I look for the different and unusual.......the images that most people with a camera would not even notice. Here are a few of those..........please enjoy them best by downloading them.

Hi Brent. Interesting and different. Nice job as always.

Love the way you caught the reflection in #2, and don't mind the noise at all. Has a sci-fi/futuristic appeal. Great feel to #3, especially the warm light on the man's face on the left (at first I thought it was selective color), and you can never go wrong in my book with the warm/cool contrast of #5. Thanks for omitting shots of that...that...mouse character.... :-)

... she was a "cast concierge" at California Adventure .... certainly not as exciting or fun as your experience!

Picking out these gems makes Disneyland seem like a calm, zen sort of place. All in the mind's eye...

Yes Flyerace, when you open up your mind to other options and look for the details that most people overlook, then you have moved on to the next level in photography. it takes your mind to train yourself to "see" what is right there! Thanks Flyerace for your thoughts on this.
