Ductor, thanks very much for these extreme compliments you have showered me with! I would hope that these photos would inspire all my UHH friends to "look and see" these details that are all around us that most people overlook. It's a mental thing to train yourself.

Thank you cabunit for all the insightful comments on these photos. MM was not included.........it wasn't that kind of photographic adventure!
Most people would not recognize the warm/cool contrast going on in #5. Good eye! That tells me you are a skilled photographer to pick up on that. As far as #3 goes........the image looks a bit grainy but that is actually rain! I duplicated the color layer in Photoshop and desaturated the upper layer then softly erased everywhere that I wanted any color coming through. I'm not sure if that is the same as selective color or not. With all the really cool photo altering programs now days it's so much fun to mess with the images. Taking the photo is only 1/2 the fun, right?!?!?!

Oh well, LBOYD1946, not everyone can be a Matterhorn Mountain Climber at Disneyland! I was one of the select few that was interviewed and passed the climbing tests.
