A way to tell which is your dominant eye.

My right eye is dominant but I use my left eye to my camera, interesting isn't it?

Should I change and use my right eye on the camera?

Use Left eye for camera.
Write and eat right handed.
Shoot rifle and shotgun left handed and left eyed.
Shoot pistols right handed and right eyed.

Some of us have no dominance, in eyes ;)

Right eye is dominant. Right handed and use right eye for view finder. I guess I'm all right. LOL

You can do the same thing by pointing one finger at an object and closing one eye. If the finger remains on the object that is your dominant eye. That is why I could never hit a barrel at 5 paces with a bow. Left eye dominant and right side preferred the bow. Oddly I shot rifles, pistols and shotguns from the left side. I think my wiring got messed up in the womb.

Keep both eyes open when shooting--pool, firearms, or camera. More articles are appearing about the advantages of using live-view. You see more with both eyes open.

Used the same technique when teaching firearms. I'm a righty but now I shoot (both guns and cameras) with both eyes open.

I use my right eye for camera, but I'm left handed. I shoot a basketball left and right, and dribble with both hands. I do most things righty like: bowling, golfing, throwing any kind of ball, I bat (softball) righty. Only thing I do lefty is write, eat, and use scissors. I even work with left and right hand.

I shot competitive archery for years, and the first thing I learned was to keep both eyes open. There's a lot less strain on the one eye that way.

Right-handed. Left-eye dominant. Left-eye in viewfinder.
I think Ashley is ambidextrous. I wonder if she can throw with either hand?

I'm a righty & right eye dominant. I was always to shoot (camera) with both eyes open.

I shoot guns with bothe eyes closed.
