A few members have asked me to let them know which camera I up-graded to.
After selling my old Canon XSI and a couple of lenses to KEH, My replacement choices were,Olympus OMD, Sony a6000 and Canon T6i.
I've owned Olympus before and love the size and quality construction, The Sony a6000 too is a feature loaded camera, but both Sony and
Olympus lack the lens choices. Since being a Canon guy, I decided on the Canon T6i with two kit lenses, which I received yesterday.

Congratulations on your new gear.
Enjoy the fantastic full feature touch screen on the T6i--truly a great innovation. Wish my new D500's touch screen were as good.
What a lousy day I was having until I read your news. I now have a spring in my step and am singing xmas carols as I walk around with a happy grin on my face. My dog can see how full of joy I am and keeps bringing me his ball. Do keep in touch cos my pursuit of happiness needs all the help it can get!
Add a little eggnog and you'll be dancing on the table.

I'm up there Bro. Doing the table top jitterbug!!!
Captain, I just wonder how familiar are you with Sony and Olympus cameras and lenses. I do not know the type of photography you do but the selection of lenses, especially Olympus is good enough to satisfy the needs of any professional. I am not very familiar with Sony so I will no offer further comments on it but Olympus and Panasonic share their optics and there are plenty of professional lenses to those interested in a Panasonic or Olympus body.
You selected Canon, a good choice since you are familiar with the system.
Camerapapi,
What I was referring to is the fact that aside from Canon, Tamron, Rokanar, Sigma and other after market manufactures make a lot more lenses for Canon then
the other cameras you've mentioned.Plus the used market is vast. It was a real chore for me to decide between Canon & Olympus. I have owned several Olympus
cameras in the past and I loved each one of them.
However, I chose Canon because I was knowledgeable with their system. At 83 years old I didn't want to, or maybe not able to learn a new system. Very much appreciate your comments.
