A great adventure and a wonderful opportunity! I enjoyed all of these but particularly like the bridge shots!
I enjoyed all of the shots. The lion with the bus in front caught my attention as it is an unusual juxtaposition and gives a good perspective.
Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see more.
Can you give us just a quick itinerary and tell us what camera you used?
Many thanks for sharing and congratulations on a well deserved win!
Nice work. Congrats on the win.

I was very fortunate last year and entered a photo in a contest put on by a travel company. Kind of forgot about it, and then was very surprised when they called and said I had won! So in Sept. a girlfriend and I went on a Grand tour of Europe. We spent about 1 1/2 days in each place and I will share some of the high lights from each--if you care to follow along!
What a great prize and what a beautiful record of your trip. Superb shots!!

Very nice series. I especially like the night shot of the bridge.
Thank you for showing our London so well.
Congrats. And I understand your pain of processing all those images! I look forward to more. When I was in London, I wanted to do some night stuff, but the concierge at the hotel said it would be "most dangerous." Did you feel it was dangerous to be out with your camera?
Can you post the image that won you the trip?

we were in our bus and I was shooting out the window for the lion shot
my camera is a Sony A99 and the only lens I took with me was my 28-300 would have liked to have had a more wider angel in a few places, but with the fast,on the move pace, I didn't want to be changing or carrying around extra gear.
if you google Go Ahead Tours you can look up the trip specifics It was called The Grand Tour of Europe from London to Rome
thanks for the kind words

after our evening meal most of our group went to their rooms--my friend and I got a city map and took off and did not return till midnight--every night. We never felt unsafe as there seemed to be lots of police cars everywhere and guards on corners. We questioned the guide and he felt security everywhere had been increased after the bombing in Paris last spring. The biggest issue everywhere we went was finding restrooms! I will never again take for granted how that is not a problem here in the US
