A bit like "reality tv"... further from reality than Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Shocking, but true: not everything you read online is true. About a week ago, someone (maybe it was me) posted an article about the best English foods. Included in that list was Licorice Allsorts, one of my favorites. Here's a list of the worst of English candy, including Allsorts. Lies! Lies! All lies! Allsorts are delicious!

There is absolutely no such thing as no such thing as bad candy. There is only good, better and best.

I love these! In my opinion one of the better English candies. I mean if you want really good chocolates, you go to Switzerland, Germany, or Belgium!

Nowadays, it seems, many companies around the World produce licorice allsorts in addition to Barretts in the U.K. and they all taste a little different.
From their web site:
The Original Allsorts.
In 1899, when accident-prone Salesman Charlie Thompson tripped up, he mixed up all the different sweets he was carrying, creating the weird and wonderful mix of sweets that we know and love today as Maynards Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts. Just as delicious as ever, our luscious Liquorice Allsorts are made only with natural colours & flavours.

A wonderful mix of Liquorice Allsorts sweets that we all know and love, Just as delicious as ever, these Liquorice Allsorts are made only with natural colours and flavours, This 190g bag is perfect for sharing with friends and family
