Thank you for the warm welcome and advice. It is deeply appreciated. I never realized that a viewfinder would add so much to the price of a 'point & shoot' camera. <sigh> I have decided that it is a MUST, however, so I am now in the "shopping" phase. Again, thank you to all those that responded. 😃👍

I decided on the Panasonic ZS40. Found one on eBay, and bid on it just hoping.... I got it! Should be here today or tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be posting a pic or two soon. 😃😃

You will be very happy with it. We have it for about two years and it is unbelievable how much bells and whistles they packed in that little camera.

Thank you. I sure wish the manual was larger print. I received it this afternoon, and these old eyes can't even read that tiny print. Thank heavens for computers and larger fonts (I hope---haven't tried that yet)!! 😄

Go to Google and ask for a manual. It is nicely printed. It has 329 pages.
