If you ever wondered why the easternmost point in the US is called West Quoddy Head, it's because East Quoddy Head is in Canada, on Campobello Island. We toured president FDR's cottage but it was under renovation so no decent photos were to be had. We were blessed with some really crazy skies so mid-day shooting was more fun than usual.

I like the lights and clouds, 1 is my favorite.

All of these were taken with my "walkaround" lens, a Sigma 18-250 on my D7100. Thank you for your comment.

Thank you, Linda. I always value your comments, especially about anything shot in Maine. My camera was on fire that day.
Just an all around super group of images Dennis. In this group I am especially drawn to the gorgeous landscape and composition of the first. Also in the second, I really like that terrific sky.
Outstanding series. The compositions are greats, skies are stunning and the setting is beautiful.
