Outstanding landscape work. The clouds and exposures right on and the subject matter very interesting. I like your last photo the best with the fishing boats.

Thanks. Fishing boats are one of those subjects that I shoot whenever I can but the results usually fall short of expectations. I was happy with this one.

I really like your shots of the east and west quaddy head lights.
We were in Lubec a couple of years ago. I have lots of pictures from the west quaddy head trail. And of the east quaddy head. Did you go down and across to the east quaddy head light at low tide? Oh and I forgot to mention my Dad was born and raised in Lubec.
Your photos brings back memories.

Thank you for your comments. Not many people can say they are from Lubec. At East Quoddy the tide was low but not low enough to cross over. At West Quoddy I didn't go out on the trail but did take the stairway don to the "beach." Walking on those rocks is a very clumsy adventure but the views I got were worth it.

Beautiful photography, Dennis. Now it's on my list of places to visit to my trip to Maine and the Atlantic provinces.

Thanks, Paul. We've now decided we want to see Nova Scotia and Cape Breton.

If you ever wondered why the easternmost point in the US is called West Quoddy Head, it's because East Quoddy Head is in Canada, on Campobello Island. We toured president FDR's cottage but it was under renovation so no decent photos were to be had. We were blessed with some really crazy skies so mid-day shooting was more fun than usual.

Great set of shots, however I would like to point out that the Easternmost point in the US is Attu Island, Alaska. 52°52'09.7"N 172°54'50.6"E.
Quoddy Head is Easternmose point in the Continental US.
