I agree with the comments stating that more effective cropping should be done.
I am not a portrait photographer but your first photo leads me to believe that the subject is obese.
I think that too much of his coat is shown.
Other than that, good job.

I just did some head shots for a company, let me know what you think.

Opinion only. Background is a little bright in color. The faces are slightly off center. The signature (temporary I assume) catches the eye.

Both portraits are very nice. You were able to get good expressions. However, I find three problems: (1) There are two catch lights in the eyes. Generally speaking there is usually only one., and (2) The background is distracting, especially in the first portrait. (3)As mentioned above a lighting ratio of 1:2 or 1:3, is something to consider in future work.

Good comment and critiques by all. Some may disagree with me, but I find background a bit distracting. Was this your own screen or just a wall in their offices? The gray and white is nice and better than plain white. The floral pattern, I'm assuming that's what it is, doesn't somehow go with headshots of male executives - for me. Also, you said not alot of time to do these. This is your reputation and career so make the time - get to place where photos are to be taken early, get everything set up and lighting, etc. tested before our client arrives. Let them know before hand that you will need "X" amount of time with each subject, be it 5, 10 or 15 mins. If do it right you will get referrals, and if the photos don't come out well then the client will be unhappy, you won't be referred and you will be unhappy with your work. Just my opinion. Looking forward to seeing those jet photos.

I would have used A main light on the way he is facing and a lesser light on the other side.

Nice pictures but definitely need to be cropped "head and shoulders" only
