The two portraits are good, with strong definition, eye contact is spot on and the backgrounds are not at all distracting.
I assume the signature logo is temporary, that is the only item that distracted me when viewing.

Thank you for your input, yes the signature will not be there. I have 7 more to do and a photo shoot in their private plane on Monday.

I like them too, but, will they be cropped as final product? I do not do that type of work so please, keep my ignorance of that in mind. However, on both of them, when I viewed them, I ended up moving them so in my view, they were cropped to around that breast pocket area of their suits. Seeing more than that, I found distracting. Again, more of my learning of corporate headshots here than questioning your work.

Great question, these are going in their magazine and websites.i send them like that so they can crop them as they need. Tomorrow I am shooting them on their private jet.

Both are good. I do not know what type of lighting ratio you used, it looks to me like a 1:1 ratio. I do most portraits in studio light with a higher ratio for males.
In that first shot I would have cropped above the coat button.

2 soft boxes, done in their office with limited space. The will crop as needed.

This is just my opinion, but there is too much suit in each picture. I would call these portraits rather than "head shots." I would crop just below the lapel notch. Also, men's faces show more character if there is some shadowing. Maybe 50% less light on one side. Just suggestions. Good luck.

These are corporate shots to be places in a magazine and website. They will crop accordingly. Thank you for your comment.

You have the right idea, top trainer. But, you're using a short lens in the making, you have to correct this. The photos show more of the body and a smaller head.
Your eye goes to the body first then the head. The're not balanced. This happens when you move in close with a short lens.

On your next shoot try using a longer lens. Make more photos with a 100mm, 150mm, evan a 200mm. Stand back further and do focus on the eyes. Shoot wide open or go to f5.6 no more! Use one frontal soft-box not two. Study striking portraits by KARSH. Theirs no end to the creative mind! AP

This was shot with my 200mm 2.8 lens and I had to stand across the room to get the shots.i used 2 light sources because it it for a magazine, not for their wall.
