Spent last week wandering thru the Tetons & Yellowstone. Smoke from forest fires had mostly cleared...only to return on the day we left...lucky timing.

Really enjoyed your photos, especially the elk photo. Love the detail of that photo. Great job and thanks for sharing.
Love your second shot the most. Great compositions.
Fine job! We played the smoke game a few years ago and couldn't see much of the Tetons. The horses are a nice touch, but we only rode north of Tower.
A place that begs you to return!

What a beautiful set of photos Redrock. All of the downloads are terrific. I especially like image #2 in the download. Well done.

Thanks for viewing. I love to hear the elk bugling in the Tetons as they contest for harems of cows in the Fall. Hope to return in Sept.

Thanks...I agree...the lighting happened to be excellent at that moment.

Agree...smoke can create havoc for photographers. Global warming has increased the frequency & intensity of fires. As we left last Sunday, another fire had flared in Eastern Idaho, again covering the scenery with smoke.

Thanks for viewing. I'll take it as a compliment since it comes from a/the premiere fox/moon/bird photographer.
Beautiful country and beautiful photos! Of course, the last one is my favorite.
