Excellent photos Redrock51. You have brought back some very fond memories of climbing the Grand and others in the range. Your first shot is a spectacular view along with your patio view too. It looks very difficult to climb but in fact if you are in shape it's a wonderful and memorable adventure. Thank you for sharing your photos with us.

Thanks for looking & posting. Impressed that you climbed it. Suspect the view from the summit makes it all worth the effort.

Redrock51, the summit view is spectacular of course but it's the adventure along the way to the summit that really makes the climb so memorable. There were rain clouds nearby and as we climbed the summit ridge static electricity came into play. That's what happens right before lightning strikes but fortunately the dangerous clouds moved on. We were spared! Your photos bring it all back to me so thank you Redrock51 once again.

Lightening on a ridge top can be exciting. Glad it was just a fun experience.
