Thought I was looking at Winston Churchill for a second or two. Great job.

Your skill in capturing the most minute detail in every square millimeter of the entire image is truly astonishing. How large is your work? Every drawing you've shared with us could hang in a gallery intermixed with fine photographs and no-one would be the wiser. Having this extraordinary ability, you must recognize that there is a world of masterpiece pictures that will not be confused with photographs, that are yet to be created. I hope you will be the author of many such, and that you'll share them with us.

Bob, your comments have truly humbled me-in fact my hands are shaking as I type this. You do not know how inspiring your words are. Thank you, Paul.

Sorry Bob I work up to A3 at the moment but could go larger. The bulldog was 12 x 12 inches.

I draw from low resolution images off the web that are 72dpi or less and use the original image on my laptop to capture the detail and enhance it, or actual photographs that I copy. The final result has been described by people who have seen the original and then my drawing claim that they look better than the original and almost come to life. Unfortunately when I post them online or photograph them they lose a certain amount of quality.

How do we know that your work is not really a photo and you are just saying it is a drawing? lol

I'm just messing with you, what I was saying was that they are that good that you could say that they are photo's and some people would not know that they are really drawings.

Okay ha ha! Sometimes it's hard to see humour online-it lacks the banter you get in real life! Thanks for looking.
