I've been searching but haven't found one yet. I'm looking for an Arca quick release plate for a Nikon D7100; one that has a locking pin for the hole in the bottom of the camera. I've got one for my D750; it makes a really secure connection that eliminates twist when mounted in portrait orientation on my Panoramic head. Looking for a similar solution for my D7100.

Breakthrough Photography has a nice one with an aluminum stop that prevents the shoe from rotating.

ARCA plates are not specific to one particular camera.

Searches can be weird. I've found things and then haven't been able to find them again!

Some companies have many specific arca style plates.

If you use this portrait, are you looking for an "L" bracket plate that allow you to switch orientations quickly?

At that price point ($120) is it made of gold?

I know what you mean. All of a sudden I'm asking myself, "Where are the car keys? Where are my pants? Where's the front door?"

It's worth it's weight in gold.

I don't use the l bracket side much, just the lens plate. I consider it an extension of the camera.
