Sunset at White Sands National Park

White Sands is a very difficult photography challenge! But I keep going back at it every couple of years or so. The best times are after a rainstorm, sunrise or sunset. During the day, it is so hot and the light is just blinding and brutal!! I vowed never to return the first time I went there. But I have since discovered the deserts natural beauty. Here are a few from this past weeks effort.

Very nice series. I particularly like the composition of the first two shots.

capturing white is hard to do at the best of times the first one is my pick , really injoyed seeing your photos looks like a beautiful spot , but i am a man that loves the desert and outback Australia
after having a second look two is pretty good as well

Beautiful shots. The two b&w images could almost be taken as a snow scene.
