[quote=Rick Gaeckle]I kind of like the feeling in this shot.

BTW - this is an adopted orphan foal from a "Nurse Mare" program. Those who are associated with horses may know why this program exists and why there are orphaned foals that are in need of adoption[/quote

I think this started out as a great image, It tells a happy story from sad beginnings but the processing bothers me, I would have liked it more had the detail not been lost in post processing.
AS a poster Its great.

I don't necessarily agree - but to each his own I suppose. Previously I had worked as a photographer for some newspapers and magazines and always "recorded" the image in sharp detail. My parents, however, were artists and I learned that it wasn't always about what was exact, but rather the feel of the picture that was important. Guess I've kind of swung the other way. Regardless, the image exists in the eye of the beholder. Thanks for looking, and as I said, to each his own.

I love it! I am an amateur photographer but I've been a charcoal artist forever, it seems. I use filters and blend modes to turn my not so good photos into works of art. I like your style.
