I kind of like the feeling in this shot.
BTW - this is an adopted orphan foal from a "Nurse Mare" program. Those who are associated with horses may know why this program exists and why there are orphaned foals that are in need of adoption

What a wonderful image. I just looked up Nurse Mare orphan foals and was shocked at the information. Good for everyone who adopts these orphan foals and gives them the opportunity at life they otherwise might not have.

Beautiful and touching photo. How sad that practices like that are allowed to continue! Unfortunately greed trumps decency. This foal is fortunate to have a new home obviously filled with love.

Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately most people do not know of the nurse mare industry. Those that do often choose to just shrug their shoulders or close their eyes to it.
