Not a very bright morning but we went out to blow the cobwebs away. Then headed back home along our route A66.
I put the Heron shot into the bin twice It was a long way away looking down and the tide was out, but I quite liked the the pebbles and the sand bank so I rescued it.
The buildings in the background of the sheep and lamb are Sellafield Nuclear Power Station.
The six spotted Burnet moth was very small hanging onto the flower in the strong wind.

What a beautiful variety of images, Sylvia, and what a breathtaking area! Also love your little polka dot moth and presentation.

Thank you very muchDonna pleased you enjoyed the shots, always a pleasure to read your kind comments. It is beautiful when the sun shines and attracts lots of tourists. I think the moth was a baby so tiny I sat on the ground close to it, they do grow to a medium size.
Terrific interest with these photos, Sylvia. So many lovely compositions, pretty scenes, and cool critters. Wonderful series!

I enjoyed these scenes, especially the sheep and lamb and the mountain/lake shots, also that heron.
