The marketing wizards found out how photo people are about product improvements and decided to see if buyers would get a new 'frig for better IQ!

I thought a transparent door that could be activated by a button would save the constant opening and closing. It's like some people think food just appears inside the fridge, so they keep going back, hoping for something good.

How about that if you run out of food the refrigerator will order them for you, and the store will delivery to your door step! It makes people lazy and lazier!

Just like the cars that will brake for you. The next generation or 2 will not know how to drive an older car.

Did you all see the Date-Line feature on self driving cars? It concerns me but with the amount of near misses I see almost everyday from 20 and 30 something's using their cell phones while driving. It might be a good idea. But then when the satellite grid goes down and no traffic can move at all??? Well at least you will know what is in the frig. :)

Yes, this does sound like a ridiculous question, but I can see it being posted in the future. Samsung is making a fridge with three cameras inside. Yes, three cameras inside. They are Bluetooth and will send images of what's inside to you smartphone. No more opening the door and staring inside, wishing there was something good in there.

Ah, progress!

It doesn't matter, my three kids would still open the door and cool off the kitchen as they stare forlornly into the deepest reaches of the fridge, as if in a trance - for minutes on end.

Thanks, but I will wait for the full-frame model with the f/1.8 lenses...for that creamy, buttery BOKEH!

You don't need a driver license any more, even a 2-3 years old who can speak to the car to tell it where to go.
There will be robot servant in every house doing every thing for you, you don't have to move and do any thing, just eat and sleep and whatever you want, the robot will take care of it! So human will become a "sitting dead".

Been hearing those predictions since the '50's. Still waiting.

Since in the near future, we will NEVER have to get up for anything, in the evolutionary scheme of things( for those of that believe in such things), how long will it be before we are actually born with LazyBoy attached to our backs?!?!

If evolution were true, our bladders would be the same same size as a Big Gulp.

Who repairs such a thing, have you ever had experience with your average appliance repair person???

You need to start keeping up with modern times. There is no such thing as a "repair person" anymore; now they are all "replacement technicians" and will have extra refrigerator doors that can be replaced in minutes.

How about ordering groceries on line and having them delivered by drone?

No. This finally answers the question, "does the light stay on when you close the door? It also runs Windows 10, so you are going to see this a lot on the door screen

That's interesting. I have a new PC since December running Windows 10 and it has not crashed yet. Seems to be the most stable version of Windows since perhaps 3.11.
