My best Turkey portrait so far.

Very nice Regis. No offense but that is one ugly bird. They taste good though

Luckily, ugliness goes only skin deep.
I thank you very much, Stash, for your good reply.

Having been disabled for the last 6 years, I appreciate being able to get close to one of my favorite hunting creatures. You truly made my day. I look forward to seeing more of your shots. Thanks!
beautiful! We had flocks of turkeys in our fields in California, I know how hard it is to capture all those amazing colors...Great Shot!

I thank you very much, Dziadzi. I can't get within 50 feet of the turkeys before they disappear back into the forest nearby.
So, I was happy to get some good photos when I could.

You are awesome Regis..keep them coming..
Ben Franklin was right..... Great shot!
Regis, the colors and details on this bird are spectacular! I love the iridescent glow on his feathers. So many colors that one is not aware of on first glance plus they are usually running away so who would know? If I could look at his head and neck and not think "warts", I'd think he was beautiful!
