Why is the little green light on all of the time???

If you ignore it, it WON'T go away! Best take some positive action before another opportunity is lost. It has given its warning, best to heed it. IMHO.

What did the manual say about the green light. Is it on the body of the camera as a signal light would be or just in the viewfinder or LCD screen.

Thanks, 2. I took out the cards and battery. Then flicked the power switch both ways a couple of times. I grabbed a can of air spray and cleaned all external components and the slots that hold the SD cards. I am sooooooooo glad that I joined this group! Thanks for having me. :)

The action I suggested is a known way to reset this green light issue-- or at least I knew of it, even though I've never had this happen to my D7100.

On the other hand, I don't claim to be an expertÂ…..
