BayPhoto prints photo prints (C type wet process) up to 30x120, a 40x50 would be printed on 40x60 with a wider border on the sides, and it would cost $90 with full color correction, or $60 if you do that yourself. If it is your first order with them, I think they extend a 25% discount.

Thanks Gene, another place that I didn't think about. I set up an account with them several years ago, but only did a few test prints. Probably ruined my chances of getting a first order discount. They did good work, but I ended up picking someone else as my main printer.

I'm thankful for the options people are giving me. I may get sample color charts from each before I choose. The $ amount is secondary in this case. I'm hoping that it is so amazing, that I will get business from their rich friends as well.

Have you tried LuxLab? I googled labs that print 40x50 and they came up.

Also, rrcolor.com looks like they do large prints as well.

Thank you Laura!

I use Tempe Imaging Center exclusively. They can easily handle that size print.

Google Professional Photofinishers and inkjet printing services. Inkjet prints made on Epson printers on photo papers are the best. They last longer, have more color saturation, and are available up to 44" wide by 60" or longer.

Thanks, that's actually how I started searching, but then I figured it would be good to actually find out who my friends here use, and what their experiences were.

As always, I appreciate your sage advice!

Got a local sign shop, one that specializes in interior exhibits? Their large format printers can usually handle this. Call them up and find out what type of printer they use.

Where at in Indiana are you?

Ft. Wayne.
I've been to Traverse City, MI, a few times. Beautiful area. I would love to take my little 20' sailboat up there some time and spend a weekend on it. (wife gets seasick, so sleeping in the cabin is out for her, so .... it's out for me as well)

Thanks

FYI...the camera shop in the downtown (across from my office) could print it for you...Road Trip!

If you're ever up here, send me a PM.

Would love to make the trip again. Of course, I would need to get a hotel for my lovely bride, but I'd be sleeping on the boat :)

Thanks Stan. Just having testimonials from my peers here, carries a lot of weight. I just need to get numbers from a few that were recommended, then put together my quote.

I have a local frame shop getting me a quote for the framing. I probably won't mark that up, but by golly, I won't feel a bit guilty about a hefty markup on the print.

Thanks, but I'm actually more worried about impressing some very rich people with the quality, than I am with saving a few bucks.

I appreciate the suggestion though.

Ask for Greg.

Went to the website, and didn't see anything larger than 30x40?
