I buy and sell with them and have nothing but good things to say about them. There customer service is excellent. If your buying the goods are usually better than described.

I bought a Tokina 80-200 2.8 which was advertised as good condition, when it arrived, I could not find a mark on it. I proceeded to use it for about 5 months, and the auto-manual focus stopped working. They stood behind it and offered to either repair the lens or allow me to select another lens. GREAT SERVICE, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for camera equipment.

Superb merchant!! However, their prices are not the lowest. eBay can beat them, providing you are savvy on eBay.

KEH under promises and over produces. Recently purchased a used 60mm Canon macro lens that was offered at a very good price. They delivered it earlier than promised, included a Canon lens hood, and provided a 1 year warranty. It took both my spouse and I two days to find the evidence that it was used -- a very tiny and faint scratch on the lens hood.

Never ever a problem. One time something did not work and they took it back no questions or hassles, and prepaid the return.

EBay "sold listings" for Mint go from $450.00 to $645.00. Many include the box. Just saying. I have bought used from KEH and on the lens I got it was in a little better condition than advertised. But, if I could have gotten it from ebay I would have done so. The prices on ebay are generally better than used from B&H, KEH, and the big A.

I purchased a used Nikkor 300mm f4.5 ai lens from them. They classified it as fair condition. It arrived timely and condition was 9 of 10 with flawless glass. Pricing was more then fair. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again.

Excellent company. The item I purchased was rated very good, but appeared and functioned as new. From what I understand, that's typically the case - they rate very conservatally and over-deliver. Highly recommended.

My experiences mirror all the positive comments mentioned previously. I have purchased from KEH directly or via eBay auctions and found the transactions to be first rate, conservatively described with very reasonable shipping charges (very often vendors make addition profit from this). My purchases include a "used" Mamiya AFD camera with a DM22 digital back that was actually never used as the first image's EXIF image said 1; a dozen Canon, Nikon, Sony and Pentax bodies; a Sony RX100 converted to IR and a bunch of lenses, speedlites and other accessories.
KEH periodically has email announcements with 10, 20 and even 30% discounts (depending on $$$ spent and "theme" of that email: specific brands, types of lenses, film or accessories among others) and I anxiously await them!

I would also look at BH Photo in NY. No tax and they have an extensive rating system on used items. KEH will tax.

I have bought used from both KEH and Hunt's Photo and Video and been happy with both.
I bought a Gossen light meter from KEH and when I had questions about it, they sent me a prepaid shipping label, I shipped it back, and they replaced it with a newer model Gossen. I have also bought a couple of light meter accessories from them and they all came well packaged.
I bought a Sigma Nikon F-mount wide angle zoom from Hunts Photo and Video's eBay site and the lens looked brand new with the original box and paperwork. Their eBay store is: http://stores.ebay.com/huntsphotoandvideocom/
