Today, my wife spotted the same (pretty sure) cardinal I saw some 20 days ago to start this Thread. I was busy with a tree service outfit that was felling a big dead poplar, so I missed it again.
She agreed -- the most brilliant red she has ever seen. I enjoy the pic a few posts above, but I am pretty sure that my cardinal is at least equal and I think is older as the bird seems bigger and longer looking.
